Commercial refrigeration engineer — Sterling County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a commercial refrigeration engineer in Sterling County, Texas. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Day-to-day duties: • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Pull a vacuum on the system and check for trapped moisture • Check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Check superheat and subcooling and trim the charge You should have: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders • Own a set of hand tools and a gauge manifold Part-time with flexible hours.
