Urgent requirement: we are hiring a metal roofing fitter in Osceola County, Michigan. The job is at a busy roofing firm. On a typical shift you will strip old shingles and felt back down to the deck; lay underlayment and tar paper before tiling; fit valley gutters, fascias and soffits; replace cracked or slipped tiles and slates; torch on bitumen membrane across flat roofs. Ideal candidate: • Confident working at height on ladders and scaffolds • A good head for heights and steady balance • Own hand tools (hammer, nail gun, slate ripper) 4+ years on the tools preferred. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
