Now hiring: we are hiring a paint and prep technician in Jefferson County, Washington. The job is at an accident repair centre. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of 2K paints, primers and hardeners • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Good eye for colour matching and blending Day-to-day duties: • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Wet-sand and buff out runs, orange peel and dust nibs • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Bake panels in the spray booth oven to cure the paint • Compound and polish the cured finish to a high gloss At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Meals and transport allowance provided. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
