Great opportunity: we are hiring an uPVC welding machine operator in Custer County, Idaho. The job is at a uPVC door and window showroom-cum-workshop. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres You will fuse-weld frame and sash corners on the welding machine and check the weld seam; check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals; read the cutting list and optimisation sheet and label each profile; crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame; take site measurements of openings before fabrication; cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees. Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Share your details and we will call you back.
