Brick and block layer wanted in Orumba South

Immediate opening: we are hiring a brick and block layer in Orumba South, Anambra State. You will work at a renovation and extension job. Day to day you will brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; forming arches, piers and reveals around openings; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge. What we are looking for: • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets • NVQ Level 2 in Bricklaying an advantage Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
