Great opportunity: we are hiring a crane rigger in North Ayrshire, Scotland. The job is on an offshore oil and gas platform. The role involves: • Check sling angles to stay within the working load limit • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Ideal candidate: • Confident with standard crane hand signals • Valid rigging / lifting certificate or banksman-slinger ticket At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
