Sheet metal welder wanted in Midland County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Midland County, Texas. You will work in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. You will weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size; feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool; run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of argon gas settings and tungsten selection • 2+ years' hands-on experience with argon/TIG welding • Able to pass a weld test on the spot 3+ years on the tools preferred.
