Great opportunity: we are hiring a meat trimmer in Hancock County, Tennessee. You will work at a wholesale meat market. The role involves: • Dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date • Trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts • Debone shoulders, legs and loins with a boning knife • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings You should have: • Knowledge of halal slaughter and handling where required • Comfortable working in cold rooms and chillers • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry We offer $3,100 per month plus benefits.
