Now hiring: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Woodson County, Kansas. You will work on a busy residential building site. You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites You will bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing; tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
