Concrete finisher — Kings County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a concrete finisher in Kings County, New York. You will work on a road and bridge project. Day-to-day duties: • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Set out levels with a spirit level, line and pins What we are looking for: • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods 6+ years on the tools preferred.
