Great opportunity: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Ukwa East, Abia State. The job is on a metro and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour • Erect and dismantle scaffolding and pass materials up • Fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel You should have: • Willing to work outdoors in heat, dust and rain • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
