Reinforcement fitter — Trumbull County

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Trumbull County, Ohio. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Day to day you will fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Willing to work outdoors in all weather and to tight pour dates • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
