Vacancy available: vertical transportation technician (North Dakota)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Burleigh County, North Dakota. You will work at a shopping mall with escalators and lifts. Day to day you will install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Valid driving licence for site call-outs At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Pay around $3,900 per month, based on your experience. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
