Now hiring: we are hiring a gas metal arc welder in Ido-Osi, Ekiti State. The job is at an automobile body shop. Requirements: • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety The role involves: • Bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding • Tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing • Maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose • Strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc • Grind back and re-weld any defective runs • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls Rotating shifts. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Pay around ₦500 per hour, based on your experience. Contact us to fix an interview.
