Car refinisher • Orkney Islands, Scotland

We are recruiting: we are hiring a car refinisher in Orkney Islands, Scotland. You will work in a car refinishing workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Set the spray gun air pressure and fan pattern for an even finish • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Check the colour match under booth lights against the maker's swatch • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting What we are looking for: • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE 6+ years on the tools preferred.
