Great opportunity: cnc lathe setter (Georgia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc lathe setter in Jones County, Georgia. You will work in a precision engineering workshop. Requirements: • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges You will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; top up coolant and clear swarf from the bed; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes; set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets; write and edit G-code programs at the control. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Pay around $4,800 per month, based on your experience.
