Line cook — Ripley County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a line cook in Ripley County, Indiana. The job is in a hotel kitchen. Ideal candidate: • Good teamwork and clear communication under pressure • Sound knowledge of HACCP and food safety standards • Strong knife skills and speed on the line On the job you will handle: • Keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift • Check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down • Follow standardised recipes and stick to portion sizes • Prepare the mise en place before each service • Taste and adjust seasoning for consistency • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
