We are recruiting: we are hiring a structural MIG welder in Lancaster County, Virginia. The job is on a structural steel site. The role involves check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch; set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness. Ideal candidate: • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety 3+ years on the tools preferred. We offer $120 per day plus benefits.
