Fire and safety officer • Rock County, Minnesota

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a fire and safety officer in Rock County, Minnesota. You should have: • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions Day-to-day duties: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Audit housekeeping and barricading around excavations and open edges • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates Full-time with occasional weekends.
