Immediate opening: retail butcher (North Dakota)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a retail butcher in Grand Forks County, North Dakota. The job is at a halal meat counter. On a typical shift you will vacuum-pack and wrap customer orders; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts; run the band saw to cut cleanly through bone. Requirements: • 2+ years experience working as a butcher • Able to identify primal cuts of beef, mutton and poultry • Confident knife skills and safe blade handling Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
