Steel fixer — Geary County

Now hiring: we are hiring a steel fixer in Geary County, Kansas. The role involves: • Install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat • Fit mechanical couplers where shown on the drawings • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Place main bars and distribution bars to the marked spacing • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions Ideal candidate: • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Performance bonus on top of base pay. $5,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
