Gas pipeline fitter — Leon County

Join our team: we are hiring a gas pipeline fitter in Leon County, Texas. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting pipe, meters and cylinders • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing Your main tasks: • Run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints • Read isometric drawings and mark out the pipe routes • Complete gas safety certificates and label the finished installation • Lay and route steel and copper gas pipe runs to the appliance points • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
