Great opportunity: we are hiring a press setter operator in Beaufort County, North Carolina. You should have: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; record output and downtime on the production sheet. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
