GMAW welder wanted in Champaign County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a GMAW welder in Champaign County, Ohio. Day to day you will clear spatter and slag, then wire-brush the finished bead; tack components to the jig and check the fit-up against the drawing; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose. What we are looking for: • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes • Able to read weld symbols and fabrication drawings • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. Pay around $4,400 per month, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
