Lift technician • Fayette County, Pennsylvania

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lift technician in Fayette County, Pennsylvania. The role involves wire up the controller, encoder and limit switches; measure rope tension and check for broken strands; set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork; install guide rails, brackets and counterweight frames in the hoistway; mount and align landing doors, sills and car door operators. You should have: • Willing to join the on-call/emergency breakdown rota • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work 2+ years on the tools preferred.
