Bread and bun maker wanted in East Ayrshire

Vacancy available: we are hiring a bread and bun maker in East Ayrshire, Scotland. The job is in a hotel pastry kitchen. The role involves: • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch Ideal candidate: • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Full-time with occasional weekends.
