Pipe tig welder wanted in Shendam

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Shendam, Plateau State. The job is in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. You should have: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to read isometric and fabrication drawings Your main tasks: • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions • Weld stainless steel, aluminium and mild steel in thin gauges Full-time, day shift.
