Requirements: • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Available on-call and at weekends for breakdowns Day to day you will install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; fault-find control boards and defrost timers; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges.
