Join our team: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Cameron County, Pennsylvania. You will be based at a rebar fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing You will check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour; bend bars to shape on a bar bending machine; cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; form stirrups, links and hooks to the correct dimensions; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman.
