We are recruiting: we are hiring a truck driver in Wayne County, Tennessee. The job is on long-haul routes across the country. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years' long-haul experience • Clean driving record with no recent endorsements Your main tasks: • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules • Log working hours on the tachograph and swap driver cards • Reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays • Couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars 5+ years on the tools preferred.
