The role involves: • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers • Stitch seams, hems, side seams and shoulder joins to the marked seam allowance • Trim loose threads, clip curves and notch corners as you go Ideal candidate: • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens Full-time, day shift. $210 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
