Vacancy available: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Marion County, Florida. You will work at a busy uPVC fabrication workshop. What we are looking for: • Able to work to deadlines in a busy workshop • Knowledge of common hardware systems such as espagnolette and friction hinges • Confident on the double-mitre saw, welder and corner-cleaning machine Day-to-day duties: • Take site measurements of openings before fabrication • Cut uPVC profiles to size on a double-mitre saw at 45 degrees • Fit fly screens, sills and trickle vents • Fit espagnolette locking gear, friction hinges, handles and keeps to the sash • Crimp glazing beads to length and snap them into the frame • Wrap, label and load finished units for delivery without scratching the profile At least 1 year(s) in a similar role. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
