We are recruiting: we are hiring a rebar worker in Sheridan County, Kansas. The job is at a precast concrete yard. The role involves cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder; lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. Ideal candidate: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Confident tying with a tie hook and handling binding wire $4,500 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
