Health and safety supervisor wanted in Los Alamos County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a health and safety supervisor in Los Alamos County, New Mexico. You will work on a road and infrastructure project. The role involves take gas readings with a multi-gas detector before confined-space entry; carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift; ensure MSDS/SDS sheets are on hand for every chemical on site; check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements; verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and inside confined spaces • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training Pay around $130 per day, based on your experience.
