Great opportunity: we are hiring a commis chef in Montague County, Texas. You will work at a roadside dhaba. Ideal candidate: • Able to stand for long shifts and work in heat • 2+ years' experience as a cook in a busy kitchen Your main tasks: • Prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch • Chop, dice and portion vegetables, fish and meat • Follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces • Plate and garnish dishes for a quick pass to service • Cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations • Marinate meats and prepare curries, gravies and bases $20 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
