CO2 welder wanted in Russell County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a CO2 welder in Russell County, Virginia. The job is at a steel fabrication workshop. You should have: • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • Able to pass a 3G/4G plate test Your main tasks: • Load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls • Set the shielding-gas flow on the CO2/argon-mix regulator • Weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions • Set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness • Read fabrication drawings and weld symbols • Change worn contact tips and gas nozzles on the torch $32 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
