Great opportunity: we are hiring a wood machinist in York County, South Carolina. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • Able to read technical drawings and cutting lists The role involves: • Finish surfaces with varnish, wax, lacquer or wood stain • Measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge • Cut sheet material and timber with a circular saw, jigsaw and table saw • Apply edge banding, veneers and laminate to board Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
