Hydraulic press operator • Ripley County, Missouri

Vacancy available: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Ripley County, Missouri. You will be based at a white goods manufacturing plant. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Day-to-day duties: • Carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area Six days a week, one day off.
