Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding supervisor in Fairfax County, Virginia. The role involves tighten right-angle and swivel couplers to torque with a podger spanner; lay scaffold boards and secure them with board retaining clips; hoist tubes, boards and fittings up by gin wheel and rope; fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid; handle, sort and stack tubes and fittings for loading out; erect debris netting, sheeting and brick guards. What we are looking for: • Able to read basic scaffold drawings • Physically fit for repeated heavy lifting of tubes and boards • Proven experience erecting tube-and-fitting and system scaffold At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Six days a week, one day off. Walk-in interviews this week.
