Container truck driver — Richmond County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a container truck driver in Richmond County, Virginia. You will work in a refrigerated transport fleet. On the job you will handle: • Present documents at weighbridges and check posts • Check load weight and axle distribution against permitted limits • Secure loads with ratchet straps, chains and load bars • Report defects and book the unit in for servicing • Operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading Requirements: • Good knowledge of driving-hours and tachograph rules • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips • Physically fit for long hours behind the wheel On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
