Great opportunity: we are hiring a concrete pump mate in Pawnee County, Nebraska. Requirements: • 2+ years on RCC and concreting works • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers Day to day you will lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing; discharge and place concrete from transit mixers and pumps into the forms; give broom or steel-trowel finishes as specified; load, hoist and barrow concrete to the upper floors; patch honeycombs and tie-rod holes with non-shrink grout. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. Pay around $10,750 per project, based on your experience. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours.
