Urgent requirement: we are hiring a lift maintenance fitter in Leelanau County, Michigan. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work The role involves service the traction motor, brake and gearbox; test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; measure rope tension and check for broken strands.
