Safety marshal wanted in Winneshiek County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety marshal in Winneshiek County, Iowa. You will be based on a road and infrastructure project. Day-to-day duties: • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Stop unsafe work and brief the supervisor on corrective action • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports • Check PPE such as helmets, goggles, gloves and ear plugs and issue replacements • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date Ideal candidate: • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements • Clear spoken delivery for toolbox talks and inductions • NEBOSH, IOSH or a recognised OHS certificate Full-time, day shift. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
