Sheet metal press operator wanted in City of Hampton

We are recruiting: we are hiring a sheet metal press operator in City of Hampton, Virginia. You will be based on the press shop floor. On a typical shift you will watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components. You should have: • 1-2 years' experience on power or hydraulic presses • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg Full-time with occasional weekends.
