Floor screeder — Cumbria

Vacancy available: we are hiring a floor screeder in Cumbria, England. You will be based on a building construction site. Day to day you will float and trowel surfaces with a bull float and power trowel for a smooth finish; strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength; lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade; cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing; cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Able to work to tight pour schedules and night pours Pay around £2,750 per month, based on your experience.
