Immediate opening: we are hiring a tyre bay technician in Fluvanna County, Virginia. The job is in a commercial truck tyre depot. What we are looking for: • Confident operating a tyre changer and wheel balancer • Able to lift heavy car and truck tyres repeatedly Your main tasks: • Fit new tyres onto rims and seat the bead correctly • Torque the wheel nuts to spec with a torque wrench • Rotate tyres front-to-rear as per the service schedule • Balance wheels on a computerised wheel balancer and fit clip-on weights • Vulcanize larger cuts on commercial tyres Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
