Press shop operator — Rockland County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a press shop operator in Rockland County, New York. Requirements: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts. Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Part-time with flexible hours. Meals and transport allowance provided. $4,900 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
