Garment machinist wanted in Allen County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a garment machinist in Allen County, Indiana. You will work at a knitwear stitching unit. Requirements: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Understands fabric types and how to handle knits versus wovens • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance You will topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish; set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers; meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. $15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands.
