Gtaw welder wanted in Douglas County

Now hiring: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Douglas County, Missouri. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances Day to day you will strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle.
