Concrete shuttering carpenter wanted in Shetland Islands

Vacancy available: we are hiring a concrete shuttering carpenter in Shetland Islands, Scotland. You will be based on a metro and tunnel project. On the job you will handle: • Apply mould-release oil to the plywood faces before concreting • Read formwork drawings and setting-out marks to position the shutters • Strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured • Assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN) • Repair damaged plywood and timber shutters • Fix stop ends and kickers at the construction joints You should have: • Skilled with circular saw, hand tools and spirit level • Physically fit for heavy lifting and long shifts Part-time with flexible hours. £2,350 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
